Green Business Loan
Foreign Direct Innovation Limited is an Irish Construction Consultancy Company which provides Project Management Professional Services to Irish and European clients in the field of construction, incorporating the structural integrity, planning process and financial viability of the project being proposed. Founded in 2018, the company has seen substantial growth in turnover since inception.
Despite already operating in two Cork premises, due to consistent growth, the business needed to find a new premises to house their growing team. A larger new office was secured in Northpoint Business Park, Mallow Road, Cork, where the company would move to a new building over two floors. Conscious of rising energy costs, and the expanding electricity and lighting requirements, the company saw the opportunity to invest in new energy efficient Triple E Registered Lighting and Electrical Equipment, as part of their longer-term plan to increase their energy efficiency in order to lower monthly lighting bills and to become more environmentally sustainable.
In partnership with the SBCI and the Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme (EELS), Capitalflow was delighted to support this sustainable project and this strong business. The EELS scheme is Capitalflow’s second partnership with the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) which supports Irish businesses by providing lower cost funding for SMEs wishing to invest in better energy solutions. This Scheme is the SBCI’s first dedicated climate action related product and has been specifically designed to help Irish businesses to improve their sustainability, cut their energy bills and reduce their carbon emissions by investing in energy-saving measures.
