International Fraud Awareness Week 16th – 22nd November 2025. Internally, we shone a spotlight for our team on one of the biggest challenges facing businesses and economies today: fraud.
Its impact is massive, costing the Irish economy millions each year through payment tampering, phishing attempts, alteration of documents and social engineering – to name a few!

And with AI making fraud more and more sophisticated, the need for vigilance has never been greater. Workshops, training to raise awareness, trusting your instincts and reporting irregularities are crucial in preventing and detecting fraud.

So a big thanks to Shauna Kealy, our MLRO and Compliance Manager for the range of fraud activities – daily quizzes with daily prizes, fraudster photobooth, information sessions and some tasty themed treats to enjoy. A huge thank you to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and FraudSMART for their insightful presentations, helping us increase our understanding on emerging threats and how to stay one step ahead.

Fraud is evolving, but so are we. Together, we’re building awareness, resilience, and a culture of prevention.
