Asset Finance Partner

Clearlift Material Handling was established in 2010. It operates from two depots (Dublin and Portadown) offering material handling solutions across Ireland. Clearlift services the distribution, warehousing and retail sectors. They focus on the sale and rental of new forklifts and warehousing equipment and have become the number one supplier of Lithium Powered material handling equipment in Ireland.

Clearlift received traditional finance through banks in the past but found the process very restrictive – traditional finance was available on tight criteria and essentially the business was struggling to achieve its growth ambitions without access to a more flexible finance partner.

Offering high quality equipment in a very competitive market would require an expert lender who understood their industry. A rapidly growing business in this industry relies on a reliable supply of asset finance

Clearlift’s MD, Jonathan Savage, approached Capitalflow in 2017 knowing that Capitalflow had people who not only understood finance, but had expert knowledge in his sector. Finance through Capitalflow enabled Clearlift expand and streamline their business – focusing on the rental of new equipment to achieve their growth plan; which was once being held back through lack of access to flexible finance solutions.

“The expert knowledge Capitalflow has around asset finance is obviously there. The likes of pillar banks are banks; their knowledge of asset finance is minimal. Capitalflow is a specialist in asset finance and everything that goes around it. They have the expertise in the business that understand us and our industry – as well as our customers. David is fantastic! Working with Capitalflow has enabled us to grow quite a bit, especially in Dublin at a time when we really needed to – because demand was so high over the last couple of years. It’s been phenomenal!
